8th Annual Golf Tournament Raises Over $2,600 to Purchase Specialized Equipment for the Gateway Lodge Special Care Home $300 Donation for Field Goal Sponsorship of the
Crossroads Credit Union recently became a Field Goal Sponsor of the CanAm Bowl with a donation of $300. The Preeceville Panther Football Club has been awarded the right to host the 2010 CanAmBowl on July 3rd, 2010 in Preeceville. The CanAm Bowl is an annual all star football game played between graduated all-star players from the United States and Canada. _____________________________________________________ CROSSROADS CREDIT UNION RAISES OVER $4,000 The Canadian Red Cross organized relief assistance for victims of the earthquake that occurred in Crossroads Credit Union assisted in the effort by collecting donations for the victims. The federal government will match, dollar-for dollar any donations made to the Red Cross until February 12th. Donations collected by Crossroads Credit Union that qualify for government-matched funding totaled over $4,000! Thank you to all who have given generously to this cause. _____________________________________________________ $1,000 Donation to Preeceville & District Mushers' Rendezvous for the
Crossroads Credit Union donated $1,000 to the 2010 Preeceville & District Mushers' Rendezvous (February 5th, 6th & 7th). The Mushers' Rendezvous is a world-class event featuring sled dog races. The donation includes sponsorship of a race which will be titled the "Crossroads Credit Union Challenge".
Staff from Crossroads Credit Union's Preeceville branch also volunteered their time to help out with the Mushers' Rendezvous Pancake Breakfast!
Pictured Above: Winner of the "Crossroads Credit Union Challenge" _____________________________________________________ Major Donations and Sponsorships in 2009 $4,000 Donation to Canora Winter Lights Festival for Crossroads Credit Union is the title sponsor of the 2009 fireworks at this year's Winter Lights Festival in Canora. Every year the festival sets off a fantastic display of fireworks following the town parade. In previous years the Winter Lights committee relied on the support of donations from local businesses and individuals, with the remaining portion funded by the town. This year Crossroads Credit Union has offered to sponsor the event in the amount of $4,000, which includes the fireworks display and the hot dog and hot chocolate conession. The Crossroads Credit Union Winter Lights Fireworks will be set off around 7:00pm on Thursday December 3rd at the Canora sports grounds.
