How do you send money with Interac e-Transfer?
- Log into Crossroads Credit Union online banking or mobile app and select Send an Interac e-Transfer.
- Choose your account.
- Choose or add your recipient's email or mobile number.
- Enter the amount and a security question.
It's that simple. And what's even more simple is having your recipient register for Interac e-Transfer Autodeposit (scroll to find out more) for ease and added security.
Important: Make sure the security answer isn't obvious - and don't share it in the Interac e-Transfer notification message.
How do I accept an Interac e-Transfer?
Check your email or text messages.
- Follow the instructions to login to your account and enter the security answer.

Enjoy the added security and ease of Autodeposit and you can manage it whenever you want in your settings.
Log into your online banking or mobile app.
Look for Autodeposit in the Interac e-Transfer section.
Register your email address and link the account.
Click "Complete Registration" in the confirmation email.

Easily request money you are owed with the Interac e-Transfer Request Money feature. When you send a request for money, the recipient is notified instantly and can accept the request. If accepted, the requested amount will be automatically deposited into your account and you will be notified when funds are available.
